As we approach the third full year of the Great Glen Canoe Trail, we thought you might be interested in how we've been doing so far?

In 2011, before we formally launched the Trail, nearly 1200 paddlers registered their paddle expeditions with us. Have a look at our chart to see the massive 50% increase in 2012, and another smaller rise last year!

Over the same period we've also experienced a 128% increase in numbers of people under 18 years old registering to use the Trail, although this was from a smaller base - thanks largely to the word getting out that it's a great place for Duke of Edinburgh Award Gold Expeditions.

Help us to have a bumper year in 2014 - register your trip with us now!

60 miles in 5 days

It is an epic 60 mile (95km) journey crossing Scotland in 5 days and conquering the formidable open waters of Loch Lochy and Loch Ness, a challenge in itself.

From South to North

It is normally easier to paddle the Trail from Fort William in the west to Inverness in the east with the prevailing wind behind you.
