Facilities

The Caledonian Canal has fantastic facilities for visitors who take to the water as well as those who use the towpaths for walking, cycling and horse riding.

Access to the canal itself is free of charge for paddlers under the Scottish Outdoor Access Code (excluding the lock chambers), however there are charges for some of the canal facilities.

To find out more on which facilities are free of charge and which ones are payable, please read here.
